The Club's Greenspace Sustainability Charter is dedicated to the legacy of local Sandyford resident, environmentalist, natural historian, artist, filmmaker & author Gerrit van Gelderen, and was officially launched on 29th March 2022, with the help and support of Gerrit's son Finn Van Gelderen and family.

In the article Chairman John Somers, and Club Biodiversity and Sustainability Officer, Neil Barrett describe the various positive initiatives in place - from Pocket Forests, composting and food waste recycling, to our own beehives, and onto exciting new future initiatives.

Special thanks to our Sustainability partners, iRES and to everyone who has supported these initiatives.
